Bow & Stern Thruster Installation
If you ever find manoeuvring your boat difficult then fitting bow and/or stern thrusters should really help. We install bow and stern thrusters on all type of vessels and offer complete or partial installation packages. So, for example, we can manage the whole fitting process or we can just carry out all the GRP works.
Skin-Fitting Installation & Repairs
Skin fitting refers to the fittings used to maintain any hole through the Hull of your Boat, to allow seawater in, or waste water out. We use Bronze skin fittings and valves as they are the best quality. We can replace any existing fittings on your boat or instal completey new ones. We can also replace any anode studs and anodes.
Antifouling
Antifouling is the process of protecting your hull from marine growth. We apply several layers of antifoul to the hull to act as a barrier against barnacles or growth from fouling the bottom of your boat. We can advise the best products to be used on your vessel. This procedure is usually carried out annually while your boat is lifted out over winter. Keeping on top of antifouling really does help towards boat performance and cutting fuel costs.
Hull Polishing & Waxing
We machine cut the gel-coat on your boat which achieves a deep shine and removes any visible scratches or blemishes. Polishing can remove watermarks, fender marks , UV damage and fine scratches. When polishing we use the best products to get the best results. Once we have completed the polishing we apply a UV wax to help protect your gel-coat and prolong its life.
Gel Coat Repairs
Gel-coat is a material used to provide a high quality finish. No matter how careful you are, fibreglass boats can collect minor defects large or small. Most defects or damage are cosmetic but should be repaired to keep your boat looking nice and to stop moisture from getting into any exposed laminates. Breeze Boat Maintenance are able to colour match your gel-coat to the colour of the repair needed, so it would appear there was never a repair in the first place.
Teak Cleaning & Restoration
Teak decking is found on many marine vessels, they soon become very slippery and any dirt becomes ingrained into the wood. We recommend regular wash downs to try and help limit the build up of dirt and mould. Once a year we advise the teak to have a deep clean and restore, this removes all dirt and mould and brings the teak up like new.
Structural Repairs
Severe damage to boats often require structural repairs. If your boat needs a structural repair we specialize in both epoxy and polyester resin, making the damaged area just as strong as it was before.

Copper-Coating
There are 2 ways to stop marine growth on the hull of your boat, applying Anti-foul or Coppercoat.
We at Breeze Boat Maintenance have been applying Coppercoat to customers' boats for more than 10 years. Coppercoating your hull with 5 layers has a proven life span of 10 years + and requires less maintenance and has a added benefit of being environmentally friendly. Once our customers have decided to go with copper-coating they wish they had done it years ago.
